Zahra Hussein Shah: Contemporary Painting

Of Pakistani and Canadian origins, Zahra Hussain Shah is a London-based self-taught artist specialized in ink and mixed media. Zahra Hussain Shah has lived in eight vastly different and complex socio-political societies of Africa, the Middle East, North America and Europe, and her art is focused on her fascination for whirling dervishes and the Sufi's order message: the collective inner engagement with ourselves and the transcendence of feelings such as anger and hatred when facing adversity in order to reach love, tolerance and universal unity thanks to introspection. Mentored by various accomplished artists including the renowned Lebanes Zeina Barakeh, Enver Gursev, and the Pakistani masters Asad Faruki and Saeed Akhtar. Zahra Hussain Shah recently participated in a show at the Tate Modern in London where movement was assessed through Artificial Intelligence. These are the works of Zahra Hussein Shah for sale at Gaudifond Arte.
