Painter, writer, scientist, scholar, archaeologist and anthropologist, among other professions, Felipe Cossio del Pomar was, in the purest Renaissance style, one of the most fascinating men that Peru has produced during the 20th century. Several times imprisoned, a tireless traveller, residing in Florence, Mexico, Paris, the United States, Lima and Brussels, he was an acquaintance of Picasso, Chagall, Matisse and Gauguin, and collaborator of the Surrealists André Breton and Louis Aragon. Below you will find the still-life work of art by Felipe Cossío del Pomar for sale on Gaudifond Arte.
