The first Latin American painter to have an individual exhibition at the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, and the first Bolivian painter whose work was sold at the Christie's and Sotheby’s auction houses in New York, Gil Imaná is, by his own merits, one of the greatest Bolivian and Latin American painters. Muralist and painter, Gil Imana's traditional and Surrealist art has been exhibited in the main biennials across the globe, including Sao Paulo, Mexico, Lima, Quito, Miami and Venice. These traditional style works portraying his country, Bolivia, and its inhabitants, are the works by Gil Imaná that are for sale on Gaudifond Arte
