The
works of Joan Hernández Pijuán are among the most sought-after of the
Spanish painters from the second half of the twentieth century. Founder
of Grupo Sílex along with Rovira Brull, Alcoy and Planell, Hernández
Pijuán was the most prominent member of the group and one of the
better-known Spanish artists. His abstract art is exhibited in some of
the biggest galleries and museums around the world, from New York to
Alexandria, including in cities such as Lisbon, London, Nuremberg and
