An acquaintance of Picasso, Miró, Foujita, Zadkine and Julio González, Juan Navarro Ramón was a very important Valencian painter who represented Spain in 1937 in the Pavilion of the Spanish Republic during the 1937 Paris Exposition. Picasso's Guernica was also exhibited at this event, as well as works by Miró and Julio González. Navarro Ramón's painting, that moves through Surrealism, Noucentisme and still life, is exhibited in the most renowned museums in the world, including the Reina Sofia and the Museum of Modern Art in Paris. In the works by Navarro Ramón there is a lyricism achieved through a subtle and silent way of working, resulting in paintings where nothing is forced or imposed. With a Mediterranean, sensual and elegant atmosphere, these are the litographs by Navarro Ramon for sale on Gaudifond Arte.
