Joan Miró: lithograph

Joan Miró was a painter, engraver, sculptor and ceramist, considered one of the greatest representatives of Surrealism. His artistic career went through figuration, fauvism, cubism, expressionism, naive art and, finally, surrealism. Prolific artist active for more than sixty years, the work of Joan Miró is displayed in his own Foundation in Barcelona and in the most prestigious museums in the world. This original lithograph by Joan Miró, created in 1964, belongs to the series of lithographs "Quelques Fleurs". Each lithograph was dedicated to one of Joan Miró's friends. This one is dedicated to Mademoiselle Féquet, collaborator in the printing process and co-owner of the Féquet et Baudier printing house, where, in addition to Miró, many famous 20th-century artists like Matisse worked.
