Worthy heir of the great Renaissance masters, the art of the Uruguayan Glauco Capozzoli (Montevideo 1929 - Borja 2003) was perfected during fifty years of continuous academic formation in the best artistic institutes in the world. His uninterrupted practice was reflected in an inexhaustible pictorial and graphic work of all sizes and formats, increasingly refined and ambitious. Glauco Capozzoli treated the female figure in the manner of Botticelli but reinventing it with surrealist touches in unreal and figurative environments that became his own brand.
